Thank Hashem!

 

So starting on shabbos eve, a massive storm hit my area. As far as I know, no one has been hurt as of yet, however, many are without power and, for some, water. We’re also in the middle of a heat wave. Yippee! I have both power and water, thank Hashem! So my mother and grandmother are both staying with me until their power comes back on, which could be tonight, or next week. We have no idea. But we’re trying to make the best of it, and if anything, it means I’m getting help with housework. Yay! Hope everyone out there in the blogesphere is doing ok today and in the days to come. 

Shabbos

Good Shabbos everybody! If you’re anything like me, you waited until this morning to start the shabbos cleaning for the week, so i’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get everything in my tiny apartment cleaned. Im just now half way done. Lol. Definatly in need of some dinner ideas. But I will figure it out. Good shabbos and may Hashem bless and keep you!

Hello world!

So like many Jews these days, i am marrying outside the faith, and I have no intention of converting my future hubby. He is very supportive of my Jewishness and of our future children’s Jewishness. I don’t know how regular my posts will be yet, but i might do daily with the exception of shabbos, aka saturday. And i will also try to keep up to date with anything i can do. I will eventually have links to interfaith anything and help for converts. Most of what I will refer to on the Jewish end will be a strange mix of conservative and orthodox, or rather conservadox. Lol. I welcome any and all feedback and thank you so much for visiting!
